When I was a young boy growing up in Whitefish in the late 40's, I would answer the question; where were you born, buy saying, "Whitefish, MT. Sportland of the Rockies". Now when asked the same question I say born, raised, never moved, and still live in "Sportland of the Rockies" MT.
