About Ed Gilliland
Ed Gilliland is an award-winning landscape photographer who is best known for his color photographs of Glacier National Park. His use of strong, sharp foregrounds makes viewers feel as if they are stepping into the picture.
Since Ed was a young age, he has had a passion for photography and history. The two passions collided and Ed started to purchase historic photography collections of the Flathead Valley, and Glacier Park. In the early 2000, Ed brought Adele Scholl (adele@gravityshots.com 406-253-9048) in to assist him with digitizing his collections. Together they scanned and archived thousands of images. Check out the Vintage section of this web site to see some of images.
Ed was also an integral part of the forming of Glacier Camera Club, a photography club that meets in Whitefish, the second Thursday of each month at Pin & Cue.
