Hileman
Glacier National Park Views. T. J. (Tomar Jacob) Hileman (1882–1945) was an American photographer born in Marienville, Pennsylvania, who is renowned for his photos of Glacier Park in Montana, and Blackfoot people. Ed's father was an apprentice under TJ.
Renowned for his striking photographs of Glacier National Park, photographer T.J. Hileman began his career Colorado after graduating from the Effingham School of Photography in Chicago. After living for a few years in Colorado, he moved to Montana in 1911. In 1924, the Great Northern Railway hired him to take breathtaking views of the natural scenery. Beyond landscapes, Hileman photographed important leaders connected to the American West.
